Some taxis use time and distance charging instead, where both apply for the whole trip: $5.25 + $1.685/km + 43.3c/min by day, $6.55 + $1.871/km + 47.6c/min overnight, and $7.80 + $2.070/km + 51.3c/min at peak times.
